BASS Shaker BS 2.0
Feedback system for racing simulators
Seat feedback platform. A system that uses the telemetry outputs of the simulator and the bass pump to generate vibrations. The system can convey extremely realistic effects such as engine vibrations, curb overruns, track unevenness, tire braking, etc. The system is compatible with all RECART cockpits. It can also be used on any other cockpit made of aluminum profiles.
Package contents:
bass pump with mounting (two M8 screws + profile nuts)
amplifier 100W
power adapter 12V 10A
Audio cable jack-cinch
USB sound card.
Cockpit installation:
Fasten the Bass shaker with two M8 screws vertically to the 40x40 profile on which the seat is attached. For the RECART GTRx cockpit, attach a 40x120 to the rear profile. The recommended position is vertical (in the horizontal position there will be a significant damping of vibrations).
System connection:
SIMHUB settings:
Download SIMHUB software from the developer website
In the "Shakelt Bass Shaker" tab, select the audio output to which the BASS Shaker amplifier is connected.
Download our sample profiles .
import the selected profile in the profile manager.
In the "Games" tab, run the selected simulator and you can try :-)
A few tips:
Take some time to fine-tune the individual effects, try to change the "volume", frequency and other parameters of the individual effects. Each cockpit and each seat responds differently to different frequencies, something different for everyone. You can prepare your profile for each game, SIMHUB will automatically switch between profiles.
Less is more. Volume traffic does not mean a better driving experience. On the contrary, a very fine illustration of what is happening on the screen and in the steering wheel is ideal.
Selected effects:
Engine vibration,RPMS - great effects to create engine vibration. Carefully approach the "volume" of these effects, the optimal level is the engine gently feels.
Gear shift - creates a kick when shifting. You definitely have to have it :-) Trials and errors we have come to the conclusion that it is optimal to use higher frequencies and set a short period of time. For this effect, it is important to set the "hight priority" so that it does not disappear among other effects.
Road impact / Road vibrations - An effect that draws data from the chassis and illustrates unevenness on the track.
Road rumble - an effect that brings vibrations when crossing curbs, grass and gravel. Absolutely great in simulators that can work with this effect: Iracing, Raceroom, F12021, PC2, AMS2.
V acc sometimes detects curbs poorly and for this simulator it is better to dampen the road rumble effect. (may be fixed with other game updates)
